Lead Guitar
My introduction to playing music began in the seventh grade when, for the sole reason I had long hair and looked the part, two classmates recruited me to play bass. Completely excited by the idea, I purchased my first rig and we hit the school circuit pounding out such classics as “Smoke on the Water,” “Johnny B. Goode,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” and “Iron Man.” Actually, I believe these were the only songs we knew. Needless to say, we were horrible. Although through our keen business savvy, we played for free but charged $5.00 to get out...and subsequently made a small fortune!
Fame and fortune never came calling, but I continue to have a passion for music.
To me, music is an outlet to forget the daily problems life so often throws at us. There are many guitarists more accomplished and successful than me, but I hope my passion for music is evident in my playing. And when you come to see us perform, if through our music we can help you have a good time and forget your troubles, then I will consider myself successful.
Always remember…
“You are the music, we’re just the band.”
